How it Works

Playing on Steam

Steam players get the full Warped Universe experience using familiar systems. Koju functions as a standard in-game currency, cosmetics are stored in your Steam account, and items can be traded on the Steam Marketplace just like any other Steam game. No wallets, no extra steps, nothing outside the normal Steam experience.

Playing on Epic

Epic players access Warped Universe through a Sui Network backend. Koju and cosmetics are stored in your Game Vault, a secure account tied to your Warped Universe profile. Players who want full ownership can connect a personal wallet through the Warped Games website and move items into their Personal Vault for trading on the open market. The game recognizes your items whether they are in your Game Vault or Personal Vault, so ownership never interrupts your ability to play.

Two Platforms, Two Markets, One Game

Steam players trade on the Steam Marketplace. Epic players trade through the Sui Network. Both are real markets with real ownership. The game works the same way regardless of which platform you play on.

For players who just want to play, everything works exactly as expected on both platforms. The deeper ownership features are there for players who want them and completely invisible for those who do not.
