# Nexite

Nexite is the primary resource for utilizing progression-based rewards in Warped Universe. Used to cover the cost of acquiring and enhancing equipment, Nexite plays a key role in enabling players to grow their capabilities through meaningful gameplay. As Nexite is used to enhance gameplay mechanics, it must be earned, and is not available to be purchased.

### **How Nexite is Earned**

Players can claim Nexite as part of their end-of-mission rewards by allocating Residuum collected during the mission.

### **How Nexite is Used**

Nexite empowers players to customize, enhance, and refine their equipment at the Nexus Station:

* **Exchanging Artifractal Cores:** Nexite will be required to exchange Artifractal Cores at workstations to obtain new equipment.
* **Applying Sparks:** Nexite will be required to apply Sparks to weapons, armor, and ships, unlocking new stats, attributes, and effects.
* **Resetting an Equipment’s Potential:** If players are unhappy with the Sparks applied to a piece of equipment or the Potential consumed by them, they can reset the equipment to its base attributes and Potential by spending Nexite and an Artifractal Core.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://wp.warped.games/mission-rewards-and-player-progression/nexite.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
